Sorry it has been a while
Things have been nuts. I have been getting things together for the wedding. And we just finished up with the spare bedroom and we found out we will be moving to Boston. So if anyone knows anything good to tell me about this city it would be appreciated. Good places to work, live, party whatever you have that would help me out that would be great.

Work
So what is up with "when it rains it pours" I am usually a victum of this on the negative spectrum but it looks like things are lookin' up. Or they are just going the way they should consistently moving forward what a great feeling.
After my engagement on thursday I called in engaged to work and I was granted a day off. While I was nursing my engagement (i am trying to see how many times I can say engagement)hangover I received a call from this print shop that I have used for the last 1 1/2 printing differant projects of mine. Well, they had a position open up and they want me to fill it. It is an Account Manager position and I will be making $2.00 and hour more and I can walk to work so I won't have to pay $30.00 to fill up my economical honda civic a couple times of week. These gas prices are sick and ridiculous. I don't know how people can own trucks. Anyway, I am super stoked about the job it is more in my field and will teach me things I need to know for when I have my own business.
Leaving my current job sucks though. I love everyone and it has been a great opportunity. I cried when I told the owner, he was mad though He thought that it was because my boss, which it partly is but mostly money. So he is mad at her and she is mad at him and no one has really talked to me since I put in my notice.
The one thing I am happy to get away from is this annoying guy that rents a cubicle space and happens to be my cube neighbor. He talks to himself in a loud voice, yes I know I talk to myself all the time but not so the rest of the people can here me. He also leaves the back door open "Were you born in a barn?" But the worst is today he always dials his fax machine on the speaker phone well it was busy today and he just lets it be busy ON SPEAKER PHONE. Then he mumbles oh its busy...duh! He hangs up redials and it is busy again so what does he do, he gets up and walks away from it and leaves it on speaker phone. ARGH. I thought I was going to grab him by the neck and shake him. I don't get it but he is just one of those people that just rubs me extremely wrong, his presents makes me feel like I just got a bad case of PMS.
But I don't have to deal with that anymore after next friday. I am taking an extra day off in between jobs so that I can check out places for our wedding. Oh my god I am getting married I am engaged. Ok, sorry I can't help it I have been having seizures since thursday. I am just so shocked.
Hope you all are doing good, peace out for today!

Another DAy
I am dead tired. My boyfriend gets up earlier than I do and it is really messing with my life. Plus He gets home before me so I can't take a nap really I usually really enjoy this time alone with myself but no such luck. I have no alone time which is probably annoying because I haven't lived with anyone in like 10 years. I am just wining because I am so damn tired. argh this day couldn't go fast enough.

Another Long Day
It is only wednesday. I feel like it should be friday, I am so exhausted from working crazy hours this week and not taking a lunch. My boss is out of town so I have had added responsabilities which had made my days long due to the fact that all the information that I needed came before I went on vacation. So I have wasted several brain cells retrieving the information that I need to do for the job.
I also think I may be pmsing however that shouldn't start until next week. Anyways, I almost started crying when this guy came into check out one of my collegues mothers wheel chair he had been in a bad car accident. What is up with me. Also, my boss is a nit picker and I have pretty much just ignored it due to the fact that a) she is a women and that is often how women are in the work place when another one enters her domain b) she feels threatened c) she is a military wife d) she thinks I am going to take her job. It could be one, none or all of these things, I really couldn't tell you.
So I have pretty much ignored her little passive post-it notes about stuff that isn't really all that important and I wonder why she took the time to write it. Fine and Dandy except yesterday (she is supposed to be out until monday) she shows up right off the plane comes to my desk, doesn't say hi or anything just asks where is the payroll? Here it is. And away she goes to check to see if I did it write, then she precedes to go through and make sure I did the deposits correctly (I studied accounting for 2 years and have managed my own store doing all the book work myself for the last 2 years) yeah I think I can do a deposit I have been doing my own for the last 15 years. Anyway whatever I think and maybe complain/vent to my boyfriend concluding again she is intimidated.
So I come into work today and I find more sticky notes over everything WTF. I am pissed but just take a nice walk out to the mailbox because I am probably over reacting because of my hormones. Well the owner had me fax something over to his lawyer and after I faxed it I had the conformation and asked him if he would like it for his records and he said shredit. I said I would rather leave it for my boss just so she knows it was faxed or for whatever reason (she will be pissed at me later.) He asked if there is a problem and I preceded to tell him I was bumbed because of these passive notes and that I had just ignored it because she is the Hen in this chicken roost but that I was really quite pissed that I have been doing my best to hold the fort down for the last week and she doesn't say thanks, or nice job or anything she just went into bitch mode. The owner and I are going to have a more indepth talk because there were somethings reguarding my review which wasn't a review but a paper handed to me a month and a half after it drafted up and signed by my superiors.
The owner said that he feels that I am a great employee and a value to his business and that we will work this out because he doesn't want me to leave.
Ok thank you for letting me get that off of my chest. What do you all think about this just in general and please ask any questions that you may have.

Day 6
We woke up and it was gorgeous out. We decided we were going to locate the camping site that my cousin had recommended. We found it easily enough and headed up to pay our 3 day fare. Of course we called before setting up to the sand flats to make sure there was room. There was plenty of room said the laughing Park Ranger. What's up with that.
Whatever he must be high or something. So we head up about 7 miles into the parke and find a perfect spot and set up in the blistering sun. We got it up without a hitch and decided lets get lunch in town where it is cool insided we had drank 2 liters of water in a matter of 20 minutes. We walked around town barely being able to breath because of the rediculously hot weather. After that we took a drive and found what we thought would be a little more our speed of camping, in a RV camping area with covered camp spots and a pool. We paid for the space and high tailed it back to the other very picturesque site to tear down the tent and relocate. Which all happened in record time.
Went back to the new site put up the tent and jumped into the pool. Then we figured out this camping area even has wi-fi. We really love camping but not to the extent that we were jeapordizing our lives. Yes it was that hot.
Thankfully it was nice and cool at night.

My weekend and DAY 5
This weekend was nice. My honey and I went out for Sushi mmmmm, I love Sushi. And he pretty much called himself out because I said that he was a bad liar.
Heres the story. He was going to a going away party for a collegue on Thursday and I am thinking yeah right they usually go out to lunch. Well, he calls at 7:30 and said that it was canceled but he got held up at work until 6:00 it usually only takes him an hour to get home. Hmmm, I think I am right he is doing what I think he is. So he gets home and I wasn't going to jump to any conclusions or anything. So he starts talking about this radio show that I listen to on my way home at 5:00pm and he is like that is the stupidest show ever but I am sure you didn't hear them talking about "blah blah blah" unless you were working late. I am thinking that conversation happened at about 5:15 who does he think he is. The whole entire time at dinner I just smirked at him but still wanted to keep it a surprise. Yes, he went to meet my jeweler. Well now I just can't wait but apparently it isn't going to be on our anniversary oh well.
Saturday we went to my friends Baby show it was nice and relaxing and we were able to get a round of Texas hold'em in.
Sunday we relaxed then cleaned up finally from all the stuff from the vacation. I made the best roasted garlic and served it with bread, it was sooooo good.
DAY 5
We had finally had fullfilled our obligations and time constrants of the relative and the wedding and it was now time to start our real vacation. We headed off to Utah and didn't really think that it was going to take as long as it did. We stopped in Grand Junction before the boarder to pick up beer, we knew the laws were weird there, and groceries so we we would be set for the next 5 days.
It is amazing how the landscape can go from flat, to flat desert, to mountainess desert. As we were heading in to MOAB we saw a horrible storm over the mountains that we thought maybe was were we were ending up. It was quite spectacular. There was a rainbow over the red mountainess rock.
We arrive in town just as the rain started and it was getting dark. So much for setting up camp in the rain. We found a hotel and sat outside and drank beers and talked to the owner. We found out he had lived in Minneapolis as well and was in the banking software industry too, just like my boyfriend, but had since retired. This man looked maybe 40 and was from Indonesia, how could he retire already. Well, they got to talking and we found out that he had actually developed the program that is one of the more stable programs that my boyfriend was intrigading. Weird huh? You just can't get away.
End of Day 5

Day 3/4 vacation
As previously posted we didn't know if we would actually have a room or not for this night but we could always book another one at the Comfort Inn that we were already in. But I was excited to stay where my parents were because they travel in style. Well, we were lucky enough and got a room in one of their other properties..
We had to get up early because the wedding was at 11:30am and I had to Iron the boyfriends jacket and shirt and of course make myself look pretty. We then had to pack up, and get over to the hotel my parents were at to get the shoes I was wearing and the shawl. Of course my dad doesn't even wait for us to be late but calls just as we are pulling up. What a ding dong.
We headed up to the church and it was a beautiful ceramony. The gal's were in these really cute green dresses. The brides sister was pregnant and look absolutely adorable.
After the service there were a few hours before the reception so we went and had a nice lunch on the base of Beaver Creek and got a glimpse of the bride and groom taking pictures.
We then headed up to the reception which was up a moutain 45 minutes and required (but we did it with out) four wheel drive. It was so gorgeous at the top there was a log cabin with a fire going and a big tent outside. But unfortunately it rained but it was still great.
My parents got ready to leave and wanted us to meet them at the bottom in this cute little town for a couple of beers. We had just cracked one and said we would be there shortly after. We finishe up and ran to the bathroom and headed on down the mountain. I decided to raise alittle hell on the way down and my boyfriend was thoroughly impressed with my driving skill we would stop occassionally to take a picture the Aspens were phenomenal.
When we got to the base and down in the town we started looking for their rental car and I realized they were two cars ahead of us. They had left probably a half an hour before us but we caught up to them. My dad was laughing and said he wished he could have driven the road alittle more aggressively but not with mom in the car. We headed into this neat bar and had a beer.
It wasn't too late so we decided to stop at the liquor store named "Beaver Liquor" Isn't that funny. We thought so. So we just picked up some locally brewed beer and went back to our luxury room and relaxed and went to bed early.
DAY 4
This morning started out rough there was a bicycle race going on and the finish line was right outside were there was this wanna be comedian with a microphone who started at 7am. WTF we are tired. So we finally get up and pack again and have the gentleman down stairs pull our now very dirty and dusty car around to the front. We headed to the luxury Denny's for breakfast and I thought I saw the parents rental so we were looking for them and sure enough they were there. This was probably the weirdest place I have ever run into them I would have never imagined them there but thats were they were. We sat down and ordered right away and managed to entertain ourselves for a good hour before the food got there.
We discussed our days and how we were going to get directions to my aunts house in Evergreen and a time for when the bbq started. We had a whole day to waste.
My boyfriend and i decided to go to the outlet mall in Silverthorn and then to Breckenridge so I could show him were I used to live. We had lunch there and then headed over Loveland pass. It was so cold up there it was amazing. When we were almost all the way back to I-70 when my parents called and they said it was stop and go traffic all the way back to denver. Shit. Well, when we finally got to I-70 it looked like clear sailing. Not for long it was backed up rediculously a half hour drive turned into 2 hours woo hoo.
Finally we arrived at my Aunts house and set up our tent in their beautiful backyard that butts up to a National Forest.
We then settled into the dining room for our traditional brautwarst and salad BBQ. My cousin cam with her family that I had never met which was fun. When she sat down for dinner I noticed she had a white wine looking liquid in a wine glass and I was hoping it was fake for she is pregnant. To my dismay it was wine which she then preceded to open a 2nd bottle and fill up her glass again. Was I really witnessing this? I can maybe understand a half a glass with dinner ocassionally but really what was this women doing?
Two week later and I am still weirded out please let me know what you all think or if you know something Idon't.

Day 2
On the 2nd day of our road trip we woke up early on friday and hit the road we had to get to Denver to have Dinner with a friend of mine before going up to Beaver Creek. The day was rather eventless which is good no police just a crap load of road construction, fines double, single lane ahead. I really dislike road cones that run for miles it really puts a strane on the old eyes.
I was a passenger for the first 4 hours and then I got really antsy even though I had the luxury of reading a book and then playing lumies on the PSP. We finally got into denver at 6 pm in time to hit rush hour traffic but lucky me I actually managed to remember what a quicker way into town is to avoid traffic.
We met up with my friend at our old watering hole. Boy was it weird being there. We went past my old apartment and school and it was amazing how much everything changes in just few years. Well, we had to get going to get up to the mountains so we could get a good nights sleep because the wedding was in the morning.
We had a reservation for friday night and my dad was going to get us a really nice hotel for Saturday night. Well, we take off up the mountain and it was stop and go traffic boy that was fun. By the time we were about an hour away my mom calls and tells us that there was a mix up and they had booked us for friday not saturday at there hotel. Shit what are we going to do? Well they were 99% sure that they would be able to find us a room in one of there properties. Of course my dad was blaming it on them but alas it was his mistake. Oh, well right you gotta roll with the punches.
So we hit the bar for a beer when we got into town and then hit the sack. We were exhausted and the next couple of days were going to be full of events too! Day 3 to come!

*>} Day !
I am going to write alittle bit everyday about my trip and I will label them by the days as seen below. Enjoy!
DAY 1 of ROAD Trip
We finally got home from work and all loaded up at around 7:00pm and ready to hit the road. Oh, but of course we are starving so we head off to the Burger King woo hoo I rarely eat fast food but then again what are road trips about.
We get on the road around 7:15 hoping to get to Nebraska before we grab a motel. Well, B didn't make it as far as we had planned because he had already been on the road an hour and a half before we starte this journey.
So it is now my turn. Everything was going great a car passed me and I thought hmmph I should follow him until I realized he was going over 90 in a 70. So I slow down and pull back to the right lane and thats when the state trooper passes me to nail the guy in the mustang. Little did I know they were going for both of us. So yes I am not even two hours into my driving and I get a ticket. Damn it.
I decided screw this lets stop in Des Moines and get some sleep but first some beer to shake this experience from my mind. The hotel was disgusting and had some interesting bodily fluids on the blanket that is supposed to be washed. Apparently, the top comforter doesn't need to be washed by law. That is so gross.
So that is it for Day 1 of Trip.

I love my grandma
My grandma is great. But I think all her kids and grandchildren suck. No one and I mean no one goes to hang out with my grandma. What the hell is wrong with these people. She hurt her back about a month and a half ago and hasn't even been able to drive her car. But of course do you think anyone will go see her or make sure she gets to the doctors office. Hell no.
I go and spend a couple of hours every tuesday and have been doing suck since February. Lately I have been doing the cleaning she hasn't been able to do.
My mom has at least brought her to the doctor and my sister took her once as well. But both of them bitched about it.
But what I don't get is why the other cousin don't want their kids to see Great grandma.
It seems that people are very self centered these days and don't give a rats ass about anyone let alone family members or elderly people.
So this post is put up for all you out in blogger land. Call a relative or friend you haven't seen or talked to in a while and say hi or stop by and pay a visit to them. Just think about others when you are frustrated in your life and need a break.
Thank you.

Thank You So Much
Thank you to everyone who gave me feedback on the MOAB post it is greatly appreciated.
Currently, I am pretty much climbing the walls to get on with my vacation. I have so much to do or so I had originally thought yesterday. But fortunately we got a bunch done last night and I also realized that we are going to have plenty of time to pick up stuff when we get to Colorado.
Tonight is laundry night, I am going to get a roll of quarters so I can get 3 loads done at once.
I think the hardest part about preparing for vacation is organizing the cat sitters. And of course they don't just have to feed them but they have to water my indoor and outdoor plants as well as feed stubs the turtle.
The house is a mess because Bill's stuff is everywhere, ok not everywhere just in the study.
Well I guess that is all for now.

Monday Monday
So this weekend went very fast without the usual rest that I like to happen. We moved my boyfriends remaining furniture and had to rush because we had to pick up his car at the shop so we could have it for the rest of the weekend, ok not really he needed it for work today. It was in the shop due to the fact that we are going on a road trip and wanted to make sure everything was up to par.
The best part of him moving is I now have a 51 inch HDTV. It rules and my favorite show Crossing Jordan is in High def.
This week will be crazy busy getting ready for the trip and not taking lunches at work to make up some extra hours. Boo hoo me huh. Of course there is my parents anniversary and my brother in-laws birthday all this week that I haven't yet shopped for. It's amazing no matter how prepared you think you are there is always something more.
You know things can never be calm. In December I moved into a new condo and spent every night after running a store for a complete jack ass, painting the whole entire 2 bedroom condo. It looks great. But then the above jack ass decided to give up, screw numerous people and file bankruptsy in January. Luckily I had a little nest of money and was able to pay my bills until I finally got a job in February making next to nothing.
Since I started this job I have pretty much taken over things they didn't even realize they needed, like webdesign, graphic design and other misc. things that people realized I was very capable of doing. But I am still job hunting trying to find the right job that is satisfying both to myself and my pocket book.
I will be getting engaged shortly which has made me think I should stay at my lousy paying job for flexability and no stress. Or continue to job search and get a higher paying job to contribute more to our soon to be joint account. I guess I am just taking it one step at a time because really everything works out.
Have a great monday all

Good Peeps
I awoke tuesday morning and as always I make my coffee and go out to the porch to read, smoke a cigarette and jump start my morning. Well, I couldn't find my cigarettes anywhere. I had just bought a new pack the day before and they happened to be gone. My boyfriend thought that it was an omen for me to quite smoking. I have cut back to about 4 or 5 a day instead of the pack and a half I used to smoke. Anyway, I shrugged it off got ready and of course stopped off to buy yet another pack. I walked it and said "I was just here last night but I seemed to have already lost my cigarettes." The boy behind the counter grabed a note and a pack of cigarettes the same brand as mine and said "You left them here last night." Can you believe that they actually set aside my smokes for me. I love that people are willing to be so supportive of addiction.
